The UT Austin professor who made headlines and went viral last year for his in-class performance of a song parodying Justin Bieber’s hit “Love Yourself” is back with a new song spoofing Justin Timberlake’s “Can’t Stop the Feeling.”
Clint Tuttle, a professor in the McCombs School of Business, uses a creative teaching technique to liven up a challenging undergraduate business course. He parodies a popular song with lyrics he writes about Microsoft Excel.
“They never think they’re going to like it,” Tuttle says, “but learning advanced modeling in Excel is the one skill that I get more and more thanks for from students who have graduated.”

At the end of every semester, Tuttle shares a new Excel-themed song, to lift the mood for students preparing for final exams. The goal, he says, is for them to keep their eyes on the prize — excelling in the business world.
