From aerobics in the ’80s to spin classes and wearable fitness trackers today, exercise has taken many forms and appearances through the years.
That’s especially true at UT, where there are many ways to stay in shape, from intramural sports to wilderness adventure trips. The university has some of the best college fitness offerings — and more than 90 percent of students participate in UT RecSports… How’s that for fitspo?

Longhorns have always been game for anything!
And there are lots of new ways to get moving at UT today, from the rock climbing wall and aquatics complex at Gregory Gym to new club sports like quidditch and wakeboarding to spin classes and the Longhorn Run.
