PHOTOS: Longhorns Begin the New School Year

As the new semester starts, students on campus and online get acquainted with their new tools and surroundings while professors prepare for hybrid teaching.

Socially distanced yet welcoming — if you step foot onto the Forty Acres today, it all seems a little strange but still familiar. As the new school year begins, the Texas community is hopeful, greeting returning students and welcoming new ones alike, be it for remote or in-person learning.
