Surviving Finals with UT Snapchat and President Fenves

Finals are underway, and hard-working Longhorns are hunkered down across campus studying. Students camping out at the Perry-Castañeda Library got a break from the books and a surprise visit from President Gregory L. Fenves.

Finals are underway on the Forty Acres, and students are camping out in the Perry-Castañeda Library during late-night study sessions.

To give Longhorns a quick break from the books and to wish them luck on finals, President Gregory L. Fenves made a surprise trip to the PCL Thursday night to visit with students.

Students used Snapchat to share their study spot with President Fenves, who then delivered a gift bag of swag to help students survive finals.
For most students, final exams began Thursday and continue through Wednesday, December 14. And thanks to President Fenves, these students are now equipped with the gear they need to make it through the final stretch of the fall semester — stress balls, sleep kits, snacks, school supplies, some comfy new (burnt-orange) clothes and more.
