AUSTIN, Texas — The tower glowed orange Tuesday in honor of Jaskaran Singh, senior finance and economics double major at Texas McCombs School of Business who won the Jeopardy! National College Championship.
Singh fought hard for the $250,000 prize and now gets to compete in the Jeopardy! Tournament of Champions.
He bet nothing in Final Jeopardy! of the second game, because he entered the match with a commanding lead — $32,400 to the second-place contestant’s $13,200. His cumulative total was $51,700, to Kennesaw State’s Raymond Goslow’s runner-up total of $46,999.
I’ll take “UT Champions” for $250,000, Mayim!🤘

In our Q&A with Singh, he says he’s just a normal guy who likes to read. He starts with Boston Consulting Group in Dallas after graduation.
