After more than a decade of advances in AI, mathematics and supercomputing, UT is shaping the future of digital twins — bringing together researchers across campus to deploy physics‑informed, AI‑powered models for energy, healthcare, national security and natural hazard mitigation.

In the late 1990s, UT along with Cesar Pelli & Associates undertook an ambitious makeover of the campus. Studying that plan is a fascinating look back and a study in big-picture thinking, incremental progress and unforeseen change, as we prepare for a new campus master plan.

UT students competed against international teams in game play, an academic debate, a business pitch and a game jam where participants developed a concept for a new game.
