The 21st annual community march and rally honoring the life of Martin Luther King Jr. will begin at The University of Texas at Austin and proceed to the Huston-Tillotson University campus where events and entertainment will continue until 3 p.m.

The world’s largest drum, Big Bertha of The University of Texas at Austin, will lead the world’s largest New Year’s Day parade in London on Jan. 1, accompanied by the Longhorn Alumni Marching Band.

The Division of Diversity and Community Engagement and two of its units will host the Black Student-Athlete Conference at The University of Texas at Austin on Jan. 7-9.
