Landmarks Hosts Art Night Austin E.A.S.T. After-Party and Artist Party

Event: Join Landmarks for an after-party on Austin’s east side with special guest David Ellis.

Event: Join Landmarks for an after-party on Austin’s east side with special guest David Ellis. To celebrate the university’s recent commission of Ellis’s motion painting, “Animal,” Landmarks is collaborating with Art Alliance Austin and East Austin Studio Tour (E.A.S.T.) for a special night of entertainment at Pine Street Station. The after-party celebrates local Austin artists and follows the Art Night Austin E.A.S.T. official preview tour. Admission is free with a University of Texas at Austin ID. There will be a QandA with David Ellis at 9:45 p.m. and a special performance by renowned poet Susan Somers-Willett to follow. Also scheduled are a live painting by Sloke One and Rei and music by DJ Orion, DJ Tako and Mesanger, with performances by BBoy Recon and the Austin Urban Dancers.

When: Friday, Nov. 12, 9:30 p.m.

Where: Pine Street Station, 414 Waller St.

Background: Landmarks is the university’s public art program. Its projects beautify the main campus and engage visitors and the university community with art of the highest quality.
