The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for central Texas from noon today until noon tomorrow.
The university is participating in city-wide meetings concerning the weather. As we continue to monitor the situation through this afternoon and this evening, we will periodically update faculty, staff and students about any potential delays or closures.
At this time, the university remains open with classes and events occurring as regularly scheduled.
If there is any change in the university’s status, it will be posted on our home page at www.utexas.edu and communicated through our usual emergency communication channels, including text message, local media and group e-mail.
