Tower lighting is delayed for Earth Day
The Tower will be dark tonight during the evening hours in recognition of the April 22 celebration of Earth Day.
In recognition of Earth Day, the Tower at The University of Texas at Austin will be dark during the evening hours of Friday, April 22.
The clock faces and aircraft warning lights will remain on.
At midnight, the Tower will resume normal lighting with white top and white shaft.
