The University of Texas at Austin’s “Longhorn Halloween” will provide a fun and safe environment this weekend for children of faculty, staff and students from the university to participate in traditional Halloween activities.
The annual free festival 2-5 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 30, at the Frank Erwin Center will feature activities created by campus groups and student organizations such as games, carnival events, a haunted house, face painting, fortune telling, chemistry circus and fire safety programs including a close look at a real fire engine.
Last year more than 2,700 children attended Longhorn Halloween, which is sponsored by the Office of the President with additional support from the University Federal Credit Union.
