The Tower at The University of Texas at Austin will shine orange the evening of Thursday, May 10, to recognize the women’s tennis team’s Big 12 Championship. The victory took place Sunday, April 29 in College Station, Texas.
With this victory, the Longhorns claim their eighth Big 12 Championship and their first since 2005.
Tennis joins three other university programs during the 2011-12 athletics season to capture a Big 12 Conference championship, including volleyball, men’s swimming and diving and women’s rowing.
