The University of Texas at Austin sends nearly 2400 students to study in nearly 80 countries through more than 650 programs each year. This commitment to international education, is reflected in a No. 5 ranking in the nation for study abroad participation, according to the Institute of International Education’s annual report released at the end of 2012.

Additionally, the Fulbright Program, the U.S. government’s flagship international educational exchange program, recently announced the complete list of colleges and universities that produced the most 2012-2013 U.S. Fulbright Students.
