The 2015-16 academic year is underway. From arriving on the Forty Acres to starting classes, Longhorns had an exciting first week of the fall semester.
Here’s a look at what Longhorns had to say about the start of the school year:
Bags packed and trunks loaded, incoming Longhorns headed to Austin.
Boxes unpacked and beds made, this is home away from home.
They posed for pictures as they made memories and said goodbye to family members.

#GoneToTexas is underway! @GregFenves talked with students before the big show. Tomorrow, #UT19 will be among the 51,000 students starting fall classes on the Forty Acres. Beginning with festivities at individual colleges and schools and concluding with a celebration in front of the #UTTower, #GoneToTexas welcomes new #Longhorns to campus and introduces incoming freshmen to UT traditions, history and culture. Visit utexas.edu to learn more about campus traditions and history and to see how we’re kicking off the start of the 2015-16 academic year.
And they left their mark on the Dell Medical School.
It didn’t take long to make new friends.
