As summer comes to a close and students are returning to the Forty Acres, weโ€™re looking back at how some Longhorns spent time studying abroad.

There are 78 countries in which Longhorns can study abroad, attracting more than 3,000 students each year and making UTโ€™s study abroad program the second-largest in the U.S.

UTโ€™s International Office makes study abroad possible for every Longhorn by offering financial aid, tailoring programs to fit every field of study and integrating the experience into graduation schedules.

Cross-cultural experiences enrich studentsโ€™ lives and strengthen the entire university community, helping to make UT Austin one of the best universities in the world.

Real talk: yes, you're going to learn a lot when you study abroad, you're going to improve your language skills, you're going to enhance your academic experience, and you're going to make yourself more competitive in a global workplace. But you're also going to have a lot of fun and make amazing friends – and those are things you never forget. Like @alexgarnphotography pictured here with friends he made during his semester abroad. Come on guys, what are you waiting for? #worldandut #utstudyabroad
