The Board of Regents of The University of Texas System has chosen 28 faculty members from The University of Texas at Austin to receive 2014 Regents’ Outstanding Teaching Awards, its highest teaching honor.

The late T.W. “Tom” Whaley, Ph.D. ’68, bequeathed $35 million to create engineering scholarships at the Cockrell School. “He made this extraordinary gift to change students’ lives.”
