UT Austin Delays Opening Due to Inclement Weather
Due to inclement weather, The University of Texas at Austin will open at 10 a.m. today, Friday, Dec. 6. Classes scheduled for before 10 a.m. today have been rescheduled for the same time Monday, Dec. 9.

The university community is shocked and saddened by the death of Ronnie Smith in Benghazi. Ronnie was a proud Texas Ex who earned a master’s degree in chemistry at The University of Texas at Austin in 2006. He was an enthusiastic and outgoing student.
